Play It Forward is a PPF community service program, comprised of local high school students, dedicated to collecting new and gently used sporting equipment and apparel, refurbishing it and then donating it to disadvantaged youth athletes and athletic organizations in need.

Anyone interested in donating equipment to Play It Forward can deposit it in any of the collection bins located on the donations locations page. For any additional information about donating or being the recipient of the gently-used equipment, please fill the form below to contact us. Please remember we are unable to accept the donation of football helmets, ice skates, and hockey pads!

Arrangements can also be made for pick-up at your house. Once the equipment is refurbished and reconditioned, it will be donated to underserved youngsters at beneficiary organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club; The Dorothy Moore Youth CenterYouth World; Mercy Street; The Wesley Rankin-Community Center;  and many more.

The idea that someone their age will not be able to compete in the sport he or she loves because they can’t afford to buy the necessary equipment is difficult for many children to imagine. Yet that is the reality for some children whose families are struggling just to keep a roof over their heads.  Our high school athletes are doing what they can to make sure every youngster has the opportunity – and the equipment – to get in the game!
